Mugs Hideout
Ypsilanti, Michigan

Bands: Once a Hero, Clairvoyance, Dot.

The Ozone House is located on Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor and basically serves as a place for teens that don't have a place to go or need to get away from something whether it be drugs, alcohol, abuse, or whatever it may be. We think that this is a great organization and when asked to perform in behalf of the Ozone House, we immediately accepted. While we write songs about hard times and heartache, these kids are living it and the least we can do is give them a warm coat or some money to buy the necessities of life.

Dot. started the show off with their energy-fueled rock n' roll set. For those of you who haven't glanced at our former shows, Dot. are good friends of ours and we have shared the stage with them on many occasions. Clairvoyance hit the stage next and rocked it out with their tight emo-rock music and crazy stage presence. Special thanks to these guys for inviting us on this quality bill with them.

We finished off the show with a solid set of mostly newer material. We went really crazy in our stage presence and all were simultaneously flailing around the stage. It's amazing that none of us has ever hit each other while rocking. Such is the awesomeness that is the Hero (insert joke here). We had a great time playing and knowing it was for a great cause made it twice as good.
