Mugs Hideout
Ypsilanti, Michigan

Bands: Once a Hero, IHIP, Stitched, Scorched.

Wow, it's sure been a while since we've been to Mugs Hideout. IHIP started things out. Apparently, IHIP stand for Iconoclastic Hipster. They're between bassists right now, but for this show, none other than Dot.'s Nick Kressler played with them. It was interesting to see Nick playing in another band, on another instrument for that matter. They did a super-awsome job, too.

We played second. We made sure to put on a good show tonight, as we had visitors from out of town. Alex's friends from San Diego were visiting on their spring break, and Sandra from El Paso, TX was also visiting. Sandra came out our El Paso show on tour, and has kept in good touch ever since. We enjoyed having her visit, and we're looking forward to seeing her on tour.

Well, a couple of us were going to the Cursive show in Detroit afterwards, so we had to duck out a bit early to catch that. We didn't get to see the other too bands playing after us. Sorry guys. They appeared to be metal bands, but we weren't there for it. We'll be back here in a week to play a benefit show for Washtenaw Ozone House. Be there.
