The Wired Frog
Eastpointe, Michigan

Bands: Once a Hero, Simple Wisdom, and others.

The day after the show at Mugg's Hideout brought the departure of The English System, the first accumulating snowfall of the season, and another great chance for us to rock out, this time at the Wired Frog in Eastpointe, just over the famed roadway serving as a border between Detroit and the 'burbs. Jon was rather excited about driving along 8-mile, made famous in Eminem's movie of the same name. 8-Mile seems to be Jon's new thing. Either way, it was our second show at the frog to date.

We spent most of our time loading in our gear, hanging out with a few fans, and stuffing our faces with food from the snack bar, so we didn't really get to see most of the bands. The digital camera didn't have much juice in it either, so we apologize for the lack of pictures. We put on a decent show, however, and it went over well with the people who were watching. We also had the show recorded onto a CD, and it's nice to periodically hear what you sound like live. This CD won't be released, however, and we're terribly sorry to have crushed your hopes. Well, it's only 5 more days until our show at the Blind Pig. See you there!
