Bands: Once a Hero, The Chiodos Bros, The Transfer

Halloween. It's one of the greatest hallmarks of American culture. And just becuase we've graduated from our trick-or-treating years doesn't mean We can't celebrate in style at Sigma Phi's Halloween party. No, Doug didn't have a boy scout meeting before the show; that's just his costume. You can see Adam dressed up as Andrew W.K. and Jon with his Top Gun hat. Alex orignially wore a black cape and some creepy red mask, but it got so hot that he had to take it all off before we could snap any pictures.

As you can see, we weren't alone in our revelry. Check out all these partygoers. We saw a ton of cool costumes that night, but it's hard to get it all in one snapshot. The evening started out with The Transfer (pictured below) playing some good 'ole Punk. Throughout their set the crowd kept growing and people got more and more into it. We hope you guys had a good first time at the Phi.

Following the Transfer were the Chiodos Brothers. Man, these guys put on a show. Their energy is incredible, and everyone in the room fed off of it. Even if you've never seen them before or aren't familiar with their music, you'll be well entertained. We'll be doing shows with them in the future, so if you haven't caught them yet, you'll get your chance.

The Chiodos Brothers may be a tough act to follow, but someone had to, so we did. After playing around at various different venues, it's always nice to come back to the Phi, where many of our fans come to see us (for free.) It's really easy to loosen up and just have a good time. That's what it's all about, right?

Close up on Adam. So, is that real or fake blood? No, we're not that hardcore. It's just part of his costume, although it would be crazy if we were one of those bands out there who left a pint of blood on the stage by the time they had finished. Moving away from blood, aren't those pretty spider web decorations? Our friend Adrienne decorated the whole house for the party.

There's Alex in his cape, although he had already taken off the mask. On a side-note, Alex's friend Brittney dressed up as Alex for the party. She wore his T-shirt, jeans, shoes, wallet chain and the whole nine yards. It was pretty funny. We hope all of you that came to the party had a great time; I think we all did. See you next show.
