Cafe Latte
East Lansing, Michigan

Bands: Once a Hero, Dot.

Cafe Latte is definately becoming one of our favorite places to play. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere, and the shows run well and sound good. And it's all for free. So why not go to our next show there? This show ran the same as last time; we played first, and Dot. followed.

The crowd is also really into the music here. Thanks to all who came and supported us and Dot. We'd also like to thank Melissa and Jessica for doing such a good job as our Lansing area street team. We are usually so self-absorbed that we only end up with pictures of us, (or maybe our photographers are the ones absorbed in us,) but either way, here are a few of the people who made it out.

And finally, there's Dot. playing their tunes to the hometown crowd. They've been writing a few new songs, and they're really good. After playing so many shows with Dot., it's refreshing to hear something new from them. We're sure they're thinking the same about us, but we've only come up with one new one since the summer. Nevertheless, there are more in the works, so members of Dot. and our fans alike should stay tuned. Here's Dot., by the way. I think I'm getting used to Noah's new hair color...

Well, folks, after a short but sweet show, it was time to pack up and head back home. We'll be taking a two-week hiatus following this show to take a break, persue some other interests of ours, and yes, work on some new material. We'll kick it off again at the end of October at Maggie's in Concord. There are also some exciting shows on the calendar before the winter hollidays, including (but not limited to) a Halloween party at Sigma Phi, a show at the Bottleneck in Toledo with Counterfit (touring from California,) and a show at The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor with Kid Brother Collective and Charlevoix. Later, everyone.
