Sigma Phi
Ann Arbor, Michigan

Bands: Once a Hero, Clairvoyance, The Chiodos Bros.

Well, it's only been 2 hours since we played our last show, but we just couldn't wait to rock out again, so we went to the place where it all started for us, Sigma Phi, Ann Arbor. Usually, we're too tired after a show to do anything, but somehow we mustered up the energy to play another one. Clairvoyance opened the night with, well, a sample from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda. The theme from the video game that touched all of our childhoods played once through, and then the band slammed onto their opening chord. Nice job, guys. Here's a pic of Clairvoyance. Check 'em out!

The Chiodos Brothers from Flint were next. These guys deliver tons of energy and emotion, and they do it with six guys instead of the usual three or four. We've really enjoyed playing with this band so far, and you can expect to see us doing some shows with them in the future, so be looking for them. These guys also helped out the Flint Local 432 this weekend by playing on their benefit show to keep the venue from closing.

Phi shows tend to run really late, seeing as they don't even start until midnight, so thanks to everyone show made it out and stuck around to see us. You guys made for a great turnout this time around. We played just as well as at Maggie's, and the Phi's atmosphere is always conducive to good stage energy. I mean, come on, look at Adam, the dude's goin' crazy!

We're pretty sure all who made it had a great time, so if you missed this show, be sure to catch the next one. We'll be playing again at Sigma Phi once, possibly twice more before the end of the semester. It's practically the only place around where you can see indie bands, drink, and just plain old have a good time- for free. So, in the words of Jerry Springer, 'til next time, take care of yourself, and each other.
