The Bottlerocket
Toledo, Ohio

Bands: Once a Hero, The Same Fate, What's The Point?

This was our first time back in Toledo since Summer tour, although we've never played at the Bottlerocket. First off was local band What's the Point? We've played with these guys once before at The Main Event in Toledo. It seems that Sunday night can be somewhat of a slow night for live shows. There were only a small handfull of people there, the majority of which were other bands, but we all still had a great time playing with each other.

We took the stage next. It was a fairly decent show, although Alex broke a bass string, something he very rarely does, so he had to borrow Elliot's bass from What's the Point? In fact, all three bands used Elliot's bass, and all three bands used Alex's bass stack. Finally, The Same Fate (pictured below) brought us the rock 'n' roll from Northville, Michigan. They were really fun to watch, and we hope to see them again sometime.

We hope to come back to the Bottlerocket again, and next time hopefully people will be able to make it out to the show. Come on, Toledo, support your local music scene! After the show, we made our way to the REAL attraction of the evening: Waffle House. If anyone knows of one of these in Michigan, let us know. As far was we can tell, they only make it as far north as Ohio. It was great to get a good bite to eat after the show. They even made too many waffles, so we had more than we could handle. So. Toledo, we'll see you next time! (...right?)
