Bands: Once a Hero, with some bands...(OI!)
Day 2 of our West Coast Tour. We drove to Lawrence, Kansas today from Chicago. It was a super long drive, about 11 hours or so. We got up around 9am and rolled into Lawrence about 8pm. We had a couple hours before the show so we wondered around town a little bit. College is still in at Kansas University, so we saw lots of kids in the coffee shops studying for exams...suckers.
The Bottleneck has some serious history behind it. Bands like The Foo Fighters, Radio Head, and Soundgarden graced the stage of The Bottleneck in years past.
The setup at the venue was really great, awesome sound system and a pretty cool stage. Their were alot of people there, considering it was a Monday.
We played really well, all things considered. We were a little tired from the drive, and we're still getting into the groove of being on the road, but we still managed to put our energy into it. Tomorrow we're heading out to Denver, see you there!
