Its an rather akward scene when three of the bands you are booked to play with go AWOL. E-walk grudgingly opened the show that night because the real opening band canceled before the show. Because they got moved up, all of their fans came in halfway through their set therefore missing most of it. After E-walk (sounds like Ewok) played, we got to go on and have a good 'ol time. We played two new songs that night, "Regret and Regress" and "Drive Away", which went over fairly well despite the fact that Alex still had to show most of us how the songs went with only one hour to go before the show. After our set, things kinda go silent, the next band didn't show and the other band showed up, left, and came back an hour or so later than when they were supposed to play. It was one of the ska bands, so you never know...... ....after the show we went out and had midnight breakfast at the Little Chef in Brighton. Yum. -Jon |
